PHILMACA OIL AND GAS SDN BHD

Petroleum trade and counterparty due diligence

As Director of PHILMACA, I lead verification of suppliers, refineries, product owners and buyers. PHILMACA trades and resells petroleum products, including EN590 diesel, and evaluates crude-oil opportunities.

What I verify before a deal advances

Supplier authority

Confirm who owns or controls the product, who is authorized to sell it, and which claims can be checked with the original source.

Buyer readiness

Establish who can commit the buyer, whether the commercial terms are workable, and whether the delivery and inspection plan fits the buyer’s requirements.

Origin and delivery

Check the stated origin, documents, route, and logistics parties against independent evidence. For crude grades such as ESPO or Urals, the review includes applicable sanctions and trade restrictions.

Where relationships and AI help

I use relationships across trading markets to reach the people who can confirm commercial and logistical claims. AI helps compare documents and flag inconsistent company names, dates, quantities or terms. My team follows up with the relevant people and source records before relying on those findings.

Those checks improve negotiations. We can identify which terms are ready to discuss, what evidence is still needed, and when to pause.
